Guildite is a digital commerce platform built for independent sellers. We give sellers the tools to run and grow their businesses — tools that were previously only available to large commerce platforms.

With Guildite you get a full digital shop, market analytics, secure escrow payments, a delivery network, and a community of sellers — all in one place.

We are not a marketplace that takes your customers. We are your operating system. You own your shop, your community and your business. We just give you everything you need to scale it.

Yes. Guildite's free tier gives you access to your digital shop, product listings, buyer discovery and the seller community with no monthly fee.

Guildite charges a small platform fee on buyer transactions — this is how we keep the free tier genuinely free for sellers. The platform fee is transparent and shown at checkout.

For sellers who want advanced analytics, market prediction tools, priority support and premium shop features, Guildite Pro is available as a monthly subscription. Details are in your account settings.

Signing up takes less than five minutes:

  • Create your account with your email and phone number
  • Set up your seller profile — your name, shop name and description
  • Customise your digital shop — banner, profile picture, opening hours
  • Add your first product listings
  • Generate your shop QR code and link to share with your buyers

You are ready to sell from the moment your first listing goes live.

Yes — this is one of Guildite's core features. After setting up your shop you can generate a unique shop link and a QR code.

Share your shop link directly in your existing groups, broadcast lists or social pages. Buyers click the link and land on your Guildite shop where they can browse your listings, place orders and pay securely.

You can also download and print your shop flier — which includes your QR code, shop name and branding — and display it at your physical location. Anyone who walks past can scan it and shop immediately.

Your buyers move to a platform that protects them and makes them more likely to return — which means more repeat sales for you.

Guildite is live and actively expanding. Sellers and buyers from outside our current core markets can register and use Guildite's shop and community features today. Payment and delivery features are continually being rolled out to new regions.

No. Guildite is built for independent sellers — including informal sellers who are not yet registered businesses. You do not need a business registration number, a tax identification or any formal documentation to create a seller account and start selling.

For high-value transactions through our escrow system, identity verification may be required. This uses a valid form of government-issued ID — not a business registration.

  • Order management — view, confirm, update and track all your orders
  • Inventory management — add, edit and manage your product listings

Guildite processes real transaction data from across the platform. The market prediction tool uses this data to show you what products in your category are selling at — right now, in real markets near you.

Instead of guessing your price or finding out you were undercut after losing a sale, you can see current market prices before you list. You price competitively from the start.

The tool also identifies trending product categories — helping you decide what to stock before demand peaks rather than after.

This is the same kind of market intelligence that large commerce platforms use to advantage themselves over independent sellers. Guildite puts it in your hands instead.

Guildite allows sellers to create their own Guild — a dedicated community space where you can invite your buyers, post updates, share exclusive offers and build a loyal customer base.

Think of it as a private community for your most loyal customers, built directly into the platform where they already shop from you.

This feature is rolling out progressively to sellers — check your dashboard or contact support for the latest on availability for your account.

When an order is placed, Guildite captures the buyer's location automatically. As a seller you have two delivery options:

  • Your own driver — assign the delivery to a driver you already work with
  • Platform delivery — post the delivery job to Guildite's network of verified drivers who bid on the job. You assign the best bid.

Escrow funds are held until delivery is confirmed by the buyer. This protects both the seller (guaranteed payment) and the buyer (guaranteed delivery before release).

Yes. Every seller on Guildite gets a customisable digital shop. You can update your shop name, profile picture, cover banner, business description and opening and closing hours.

Guildite also offers premium shop themes — professionally designed layouts that make your shop stand out. Themes are available as one-time purchases in the Guildite marketplace.

Your shop generates a permanent link and QR code that you can share anywhere — online or printed for your physical location.

Guildite supports all legal products and services. Common categories include fashion and clothing, food and beverages, electronics, vehicles, furniture, beauty products, services and anything else you legitimately sell.

The following are strictly prohibited: stolen goods, counterfeit items, controlled substances, weapons, explicit content, and any item prohibited under applicable law. Violations result in immediate account termination.

Once a buyer confirms delivery of their order, Guildite releases the escrow funds to your seller account immediately. You can then withdraw to your mobile money account or bank account.

Withdrawals to mobile money are typically processed within minutes. Bank transfers are processed within 1 to 2 business days.

If a buyer does not confirm delivery within 48 hours of the confirmed delivery date, Guildite will automatically release the funds to you — provided no dispute has been raised.

For Buyers

Guildite protects every buyer through its escrow system. When you place an order:

  • Your payment goes into Guildite's secure escrow — not directly to the seller
  • The seller only receives payment after you confirm delivery
  • If the seller does not deliver, you get a full refund
  • If you receive something different from what was described, you can raise a dispute

Guildite's moderation team also actively monitors the platform for scam accounts, fake listings and fraudulent activity — removing them before they reach you.

Never pay a seller outside of Guildite's platform. Off-platform payments remove all your protections.

If your order does not arrive by the seller's stated delivery date, raise a dispute through your order page. Guildite's dispute team will investigate and, where the seller has failed to deliver, will refund your payment in full within 5 business days.

Your payment has been safely held in escrow throughout. The seller cannot receive it until you confirm delivery — so there is no risk of paying for something you never receive.

Do not release the escrow funds if you receive something materially different from the listing description. Raise a dispute immediately through your order page with photos of what you received.

Guildite's dispute team will review your evidence and the seller's listing. Where a material discrepancy is confirmed, we will process a full refund of the transaction amount.

Do not release escrow if you are unhappy with the item. Once you release funds, the transaction is considered complete and refunds are at Guildite's discretion only.

You can discover sellers on Guildite in three ways:

  • Browse the Discover Sellers page — search by category, location or product type
  • Scan a seller's QR code from their physical shop, flier or social media
  • Follow a shop link shared by a seller on any platform they use

Once you visit a seller's shop you can browse their full catalogue, view their ratings and order directly from the shop page.

Guildite charges buyers a small platform fee on each transaction. This fee covers the escrow service, fraud protection, dispute resolution and platform security that protects your purchase.

The platform fee is shown transparently at checkout before you confirm your order — there are no hidden charges.

Think of it as the cost of shopping with complete protection. You are not paying a platform fee for nothing — you are paying for the guarantee that your money is safe until you receive exactly what you ordered.

Payments & Escrow

Guildite accepts a range of mobile money providers, debit and credit cards, and bank transfer through selected banks, depending on your region.

All payments are processed securely through our payment infrastructure partners. Guildite never stores your full card or mobile money credentials.

When you place an order, Guildite generates a unique escrow code for that transaction. This code confirms your payment is held securely and is used as part of the delivery confirmation process.

Critical: Never share your escrow code with anyone — including people claiming to be Guildite staff, the seller, or a delivery driver. A legitimate Guildite transaction never requires you to share this code with another person. Anyone asking for it is attempting to steal your funds.

The escrow code is only used within Guildite's official delivery confirmation flow — never in a chat, call or message outside the platform.

Escrow funds are held until one of the following happens:

  • The buyer confirms delivery — funds are released to the seller immediately
  • 48 hours pass after confirmed delivery with no buyer confirmation — funds are released automatically to the seller
  • A dispute is raised — funds are held until Guildite's dispute team makes a determination
  • The seller fails to fulfil the order — funds are refunded to the buyer

Escrow funds are never held indefinitely. If a transaction stalls for any reason, contact [email protected] and we will resolve it.

Refunds of the transaction amount are available in the following situations:

  • The seller did not deliver the order
  • You received something materially different from the listing description
  • Guildite's dispute resolution process determined a refund is warranted

Platform fees are non-refundable except where the error was caused by Guildite's platform.

Refunds are not available where you simply changed your mind, where the item matched the listing description, or where escrow funds were already released.

Yes. Guildite's escrow system is specifically designed to protect large transactions where trust between buyer and seller is critical.

For high-value transactions such as vehicles, both the buyer and seller may be required to complete identity verification before funds are held. This protects both parties.

The escrow process means the seller cannot access the funds until you confirm receipt in the agreed condition — and you cannot lose your money to a seller who takes payment and disappears.

Guildite's escrow makes high-value informal commerce safer than cash — for both the buyer and the seller.
Community

The Guildite community is a professional space for sellers and buyers to connect, learn and grow together. It includes:

  • General chat — open discussion for all members
  • Announcements — platform updates and seller news from Guildite
  • Help channel — ask questions, get answers from experienced sellers
  • Individual seller Guilds — private communities created by sellers for their buyers

The community is moderated by Guildite's moderation team. Professional conduct is required at all times.

If you see suspicious activity, a scam attempt or someone asking for escrow codes or payment details in community chat, report it immediately:

  • Use the report button on the message
  • Message a moderator directly
  • Email [email protected] with a screenshot

Guildite moderators respond to reports quickly. Confirmed scam accounts are permanently banned and, where appropriate, reported to the relevant authorities.

No legitimate transaction on Guildite ever requires sharing an escrow code, mobile money PIN or bank details in a community chat message.

Yes. Guildite moderators have the authority to warn, mute, remove content and permanently ban users who violate community guidelines.

Banning offences include fraud, scam attempts, harassment, sharing prohibited content, impersonation and repeated violations of community rules after warnings.

A community ban may also trigger a platform account review. Serious violations result in permanent account termination with no refund of subscription fees.

Guild creation is being rolled out to Guildite Pro sellers progressively. Your Guild is a private community space attached to your shop where you can invite buyers, post exclusive content and build a loyal customer base.

If Guild creation is available on your account, go to your seller dashboard, select Community and follow the Guild setup guide. You can set your Guild name, description, invite rules and moderation settings.

Account & Billing
4 questions

You can cancel your Guildite Pro subscription at any time from your account settings — no phone call or email required.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to Pro features until the period ends. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

After cancellation your account moves to the free tier. Your shop, listings, sales history and seller data are all preserved.

When you close your Guildite account:

  • Your public shop and listings are removed from the platform immediately
  • Your personal account information is retained for 2 years for support and dispute purposes
  • Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations
  • Your aggregated transaction data remains part of Guildite's market intelligence — it cannot be deleted as it is anonymised and forms part of the platform dataset

You can request a copy of your personal data before closing your account by emailing [email protected].

On the Guildite login screen, tap Forgot Password and enter the email address or phone number registered to your account. We will send you a reset link by email or an OTP by SMS.

If you no longer have access to the email or phone number on your account, contact [email protected] with your account details and we will verify your identity and assist with recovery.
